Role Description- This is a full-time on-site role for an INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY SENIOR ASSOCIATE at AK Mylsamy & Associates LLP.
Role and responsibility- The Senior Associate will be responsible for Buisness development, providing legal advisory, conducting research, drafting documents, participating in negotiations, and representing clients in IP board & court proceedings. The role will also involve interacting with clients, managing portfolios, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
Qualifications:
Legal professional with a law degree from a recognized institution
Strong knowledge of IP filings, particularly in trademark, design, and copyright
Excellent research and analytical skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
6 years of Post Qualification Experience (PQE) in IP matters
Previous experience in a law firm is mandatory
Job Profile-
Conducting research, reading case files, and preparing notes
Providing legal advice on the protection and enforcement of IP matters
Drafting legal notices, replies, and submissions for filing at IP Boards & Courts
