Publication Malpractice Policy

By submitting a manuscript to JCLJ, the author(s) gives consent that the manuscript is their own, original work and that it has neither been published previously nor is currently being considered for publication elsewhere and the sources the manuscript that is not their own have been properly attributed through appropriate citations.

When an author is submitting a manuscript it is the responsibility of the author to make sure the paper has not been submitted elsewhere for consideration or publication. This practice is against the principles of fair publication and might lead to serious consequences which have to be faced by the authors.

It’s the duty & responsibility of the authors to disclose all the information that has been used from other sources and is not the original idea of the authors. All authors are bound to submit a duly signed copyright form, if failing to do so, the manuscript (accepted by the double-blind peer review process) shall not be published.

This allows the author(s) to retain the copyright, but also allows others to freely copy, distribute, and display the copyrighted work, and derivative works based upon it, under certain specified conditions. JCLJ strictly condemns all plagiarised work and does not entertain any such content for publication in the Journal.

All manuscripts submitted at JCLJ are checked through Turnitin Plagiarism software and the report of the same is also provided to all authors and reviewers for their perusal. JCLJ holds the right to reject any manuscript received which contains any plagiarized content. Authors may please take note that providing citations might not necessarily eradicate plagiarism.

In case, any other claim regarding the copyright of the author comes or a considerable amount of plagiarism is found after publication, JCLJ will allow the author to provide its response to the objection. On finding the objection about the plagiarism or copyright true, JCLJ will be bound to take down the manuscript immediately without any refund issued.

Herein, Jus Corpus Law Journal is referred to as JCLJ.
