ABOUT THE EVENT
The Centre for Women and Child Welfare Policy (CWCWP), Ramaiah College of Law, Bengaluru, in collaboration with Jus Corpus, is organizing the Pravaha: A National Conclave on Navigating Gender Dynamics & Child Welfare in Contemporary India
This Conclave aims to serve as a national platform for academic dialogue, policy reflection and interdisciplinary research dissemination on issues impacting gender and child welfare in India. By bringing together students, academicians, researchers, practitioners and policymakers, the event seeks to encourage critical engagement with the evolving intersections of law, policy and social justice.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Format of Submission: Participants are required to submit their research articles in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx). The document must be typed in Times New Roman, font size 12 for the main text and 10 for footnotes, with 1.5 line spacing and justified alignment. The margins should be set to 1 inch on all sides. The first page of the submission should include the title of the paper, name(s) of the author(s), designation and institutional affiliation.
Word Count: The article should be between 2,500 to 4,500 words, inclusive of footnotes. Participants are encouraged to adhere strictly to the prescribed word limit to ensure uniformity and fairness in evaluation.
Originality and Plagiarism Policy: Submissions must be original and unpublished. The paper must not have been submitted elsewhere for publication or consideration. A plagiarism report is mandatory and the similarity index must not exceed 10%. Any paper exceeding the limit or found to contain plagiarised content will be rejected. Proper citations and referencing are essential.
Co-Authorship: Co-authorship of up to two authors per paper is permitted. Both authors must register, but joint registration is allowed, that is, co-authors can register together under the same submission. The registration form should include details of both contributors.
Presentation Time: Authors whose papers are selected for presentation will be allotted 15 minutes in total, 12 minutes for the presentation and 3 minutes for Q&A or discussion. Participants are encouraged to use PowerPoint slides or visual aids to enhance their presentation.
Mode of Submission: All papers must be submitted electronically through the official submission link provided by the organizers. Submissions after the deadline will not be entertained.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Abstract Content: Participants are required to submit an abstract that provides a concise overview of their proposed paper. The abstract should clearly include the following:
- The central research question or problem statement
- The research design or methodology adopted or intended to be used
- A tentative title of the paper
- Up to five relevant keywords that best describe the core focus of the research
The abstract should reflect originality, clarity and academic significance, aligning closely with the selected theme or sub-theme of the conclave.
Word Limit for Abstract: The abstract should not exceed 350 words. Participants are advised to maintain brevity and precision while ensuring clarity of thought and relevance to the conference theme.
Cover Letter: Each abstract must be accompanied by a short cover letter containing the following details:
- Full name(s) of the author(s)
- Institutional affiliation and designation
- Contact number and email ID
In the case of co-authored papers, the details of both authors should be provided and joint registration through the same form is permitted.
Mode of Submission: All abstracts and cover letters must be submitted through the official Google Form provided by the organizers. Submissions via email will not be accepted. The link to the Google Form will be made available on the official event announcement and promotional materials.
Last Date for Abstract Submission: The last date for abstract submission is 20th November 2025. Late submissions will not be entertained. Selected participants will be notified via email regarding acceptance and further instructions for full paper submission.

Selected high-quality papers, reviewed by CWCWP and Jus Corpus, will be published through Jus Corpus, the Official Academic Partner for the Conclave. Jus Corpus will also have the opportunity to nominate reviewers, judges or expert speakers for relevant sessions.
