Applications are invited for a legal internship under Advocate Kirti Sharan Agarwal, practicing at the High Court of Uttarakhand, Nainital. This internship provides law students with a valuable opportunity to gain exposure to court proceedings and practical legal work.
Internship Details:
- Location: High Court of Uttarakhand, Nainital
- Duration: Minimum 4 weeks (extendable based on performance and availability)
- Mode: Physical (on-site)
Eligibility Criteria:
- Law students from 2nd year onwards of:
- 5-year integrated LL.B. course, or
- 3-year LL.B. course
- Candidates with interest in:
- Constitutional Law
- Administrative Law
- Environmental Law
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Observing court proceedings (including writs, PILs, and service matters)
- Conducting legal research and preparing briefs
- Assisting in drafting writ petitions, rejoinders, and legal notes
- Attending discussions with advocates and court staff
- Preparing summaries of landmark judgments
- Assisting in case diary management
Skills Required:
- Strong research and legal writing skills
- Understanding of procedural and constitutional law
- Punctuality, discipline, and a willingness to learn
Stipend:
- Unpaid
