About the Organisation:
Civic Innovation Foundation (operating as Civis) works to bridge the gap between Governments and citizens by enabling effective public dialogue on laws and policies. Civis facilitates public consultations through its platform, empowering citizens to contribute their inputs on proposed laws. The organisation is the recipient of several awards including Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia, Agami Prize for Legal Innovation, D-Prize, and accolades from both the Maharashtra and Gujarat state governments.
About the Internship:
This 12-week remote internship aims to train law and public policy students in civic engagement and policy research.
Duration: 30th June 2025 – September 2025
Mode: Online (Remote)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Summarising draft laws and policies for public understanding
- Conducting background research on ongoing consultations
- Writing and publishing policy analysis and articles for Civis’ blog and other platforms
Eligibility Criteria:
- Students of law or public policy, currently in 3rd year or above
- Strong research and writing skills
- Interest in public policy and civic engagement
