Civis is a civic-tech organisation working to make law-making more participatory and transparent. It enables citizens to understand draft laws and policies and share their feedback before they are finalised.
About the Internship
Civis is inviting applications for its Policy Leaders Internship Program (April–June 2026). This is a 12-week remote internship where interns work at the intersection of law, public policy, and citizen participation.
Eligibility Criteria
- Law and public policy students (3rd year and above)
- Strong interest in public policy and governance
- Good research, writing, and communication skills
- Creative and proactive approach
Nature of Work / Responsibilities
- Simplifying draft laws and policy documents
- Researching real-world policy issues
- Creating explainers, blogs, and video content
- Supporting outreach activities (online and on-ground)
What You Will Gain
