About the Organization

The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, is a specialized initiative launched to address the growing concern of cybercrimes in India. The centre coordinates activities among law enforcement agencies, academia, and private stakeholders to combat cyber threats effectively.

Since 2021, I4C has initiated an internship program for undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD students to provide exposure to the functioning of I4C and its seven verticals. The program offers valuable insight into cybercrime awareness, trends, modus operandi, and policy implications.

Position

  • Role: Legal Intern
  • Location: Delhi (In-office Internship)
  • Duration: 3 Months (Extendable based on performance and requirements)
  • Stipend:
    • ₹6,000/month for Undergraduate Students
    • ₹10,000/month for Postgraduate Students
    • ₹20,000/month for PhD Students

Nature of Work / Responsibilities

Interns will be assigned tasks under the supervision of senior officers of I4C and will be responsible for:

  • Conducting legal research and drafting case studies and summaries
  • Drafting legal documents and representations
  • Preparing comprehensive reports related to cyber law and policy
  • Collaborating with internal teams on various ongoing projects
  • Providing legal and administrative support for research initiatives
  • Drafting and reviewing agreements and content related to cyber law
  • Maintaining confidentiality and complying with internal protocols, including signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
  • Attending the internship program regularly with daily attendance tracking

Eligibility Criteria

  • Students currently in the 3rd year or above of a 5-year integrated LL.B. program
  • Strong research, drafting, and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional setup
  • Willingness to maintain confidentiality and sign an NDA as required
