ABOUT THE INSTITUTE
Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMLNLU), Lucknow, a premier institution established in 2006, has continually contributed to advancing legal education in India. Known for its excellence in intellectual property rights (IPR) studies, the university hosts the DPIIT-IPR Chair, fostering cutting-edge research and education in intellectual property.
The Department for Promotion of Industries and Internal Trade (DPIIT) under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, India, initiated the SPRIHA scheme to establish IPR Chairs in selected academic institutions. This initiative strengthens intellectual property education and encourages policy-relevant research while fostering collaboration between academia and industry.
RMLNLU’s DPIIT-IPR Chair is conducting an Online Certificate Course on Intellectual Property Rights from 2nd February to 16th February 2026. This course offers a comprehensive program designed to help you master patents, trademarks, copyrights, and designs, equipping you with practical knowledge in IPR management, procedures, and real-world applications.

INR 1000 for working professionals.
INR 750 for research scholars and students.
