Position Details
- Position: Patent Associate / Patent Agent
- Location: South Delhi
- Educational Qualification: B.E./B. Tech/M.E./M. Tech (in Electrical, Electronics & Communication)
Eligibility Criteria
- Background in Electrical or Electronics & Communication engineering
- Strong analytical and technical skills
- Knowledge of patent laws, drafting, and prosecution (preferred for Patent Agents)
Responsibilities
- Conducting Prior Art searches on paid and free databases
- Preparing IP opinions (patentability, FTO, invalidity)
- Understanding inventions, creating and executing search strategies
- Drafting Provisional and Complete Specifications for patent applications
- Drafting and handling responses to office actions in India and other jurisdictions
- Attending to Examination reports and Office Actions, preparing technical arguments, and attending hearings at the Indian Patent Office (for registered Patent Agents)
- Assisting in patent oppositions and providing technical support for enforcement activities through research and analysis of recent cases
- Managing patent application filing and prosecution in India, PCT, and worldwide jurisdictions
