An urgent hiring is open for the position of Manager – Legal and Risk Management at a reputed leading company. The role offers the opportunity to handle high-level legal matters, manage risk, and contribute to the company’s corporate governance.
Job Role
Position: Manager – Legal and Risk Management
Location: Delhi NCR & Mumbai
Experience: 6 to 8 Years
Educational Qualification: B.A. LL.B. (from a reputed law college)
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing commercial contracts from both client and vendor sides
- Drafting and maintaining various agreement templates
- Drafting SOPs and processes with a policy-driven approach
- Knowledge of Intellectual Property Rights laws
- Team management experience (handling a team reporting to this role)
- Liaising with authorities; drafting responses to summons, show cause notices, inspections, and interrogations by government departments, regulators, and authorities
- Coordinating with and briefing external lawyers on legal documentation (notices, plaints, petitions, replies, rejoinders, affidavits, etc.)
- Knowledge of labour laws and employee-related matters
- Knowledge of ICAI Code and CA Act will be an added advantage
Other Desired Experience
- Proven in-house legal counsel experience (6 to 8 years) in a large organization with a multi-disciplinary practice environment
- Excellent written, presentation, and spoken English skills
- Team player with the ability to contribute independently
- Capability to work in diverse teams and manage multiple responsibilities
