About the Internship
The Office of Justice K.V. Viswanathan, Judge, Supreme Court of India, is inviting applications for in-person, full-time internships on a rolling basis from September 2025 to December 2025. This prestigious opportunity offers law students direct exposure to judicial functioning, legal research, and court proceedings at the apex court of the country.
Internship Details
- Duration: September 2025 – December 2025 (applicants must specify their preferred month)
- Mode: In-person, full-time
- Location: Supreme Court of India, New Delhi
- Application Deadline: Rolling basis (apply at least 5 weeks prior to the intended start date)
Eligibility Criteria
- Undergraduate law students: 2nd year onwards (3-year LL.B.) or 4th year onwards (5-year integrated LL.B.)
- Postgraduate law students (LL.M.)
- Strong research, drafting, and analytical skills
- Professionalism, punctuality, and highest standards of confidentiality
Responsibilities (Non-Exhaustive)
- Briefing and preparing notes on matters listed before the Court
- Conducting in-depth legal research and drafting research memos/notes
- Attending court proceedings and recording detailed minutes
- Assisting with drafting and reviewing materials as directed
Orientation
At the start of the internship, interns will undergo an orientation session covering procedures, policies, templates, and protocols to prepare them for their responsibilities.
