About the Internship:
The CCI Internship Programme aims to familiarize students with the Competition Act, 2002, and its practical application. Interns are assigned to various divisions of the Commission, where they work under the supervision of senior officials.
Location: New Delhi
Mode: Full-time, In-office
Honorarium: ₹15,000 per month
Eligibility Criteria:
- Open to Indian nationals only
- Must not have a placement offer in hand
- Open to students of:
- Law:
- 2nd & 3rd year of 3-year LL.B. course
- 4th & 5th year of 5-year integrated law course
- LL.M. students
- Economics & Management:
- MA/M.Sc. (Economics)
- 4th & 5th year of integrated Economics programs
- MBA
- Regulatory Governance: MA/M.Sc. in the field
- Professional Courses: Final group of CA, CS, CMA
- Law:
Duration:
- One month (standard)
- Can be extended to 2–3 months with university recommendation
- Internship begins on the 1st working day of the month
Key Features:
- Includes an induction program on the Competition Act
- Interns will work in divisions relevant to their field
- A presentation is required at the end of the internship
- Certificate issued upon successful completion
- Maximum 15 interns per month (exceptions possible for strong research topics)
