About the Chamber:
Chambers of Shashank Sharma is a New Delhi-based litigation practice that deals with a variety of legal matters including civil litigation, constitutional law, commercial disputes, arbitration, and legal advisory work. The chamber provides a dynamic environment where interns can learn the nuances of legal research, drafting, and courtroom procedures under professional mentorship.
Internship Details:
- Position: Long-term Legal Intern (Assessment Basis)
- Location: Nizamuddin West, New Delhi – 110013
- Start Date: 6th August 2025 (flexible based on the applicant’s academic schedule)
- Mode: Full-time, in-office
- Duration: 3–4 months (Assessment-based; strong performers may be offered further opportunities)
- Stipend: Competitive stipend, with the possibility of increment based on consistent performance and contribution
Eligibility Criteria:
- Law students currently in 4th or 5th year of a 5-year integrated LLB program from a recognized law university
- Should have a strong command of legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Demonstrated interest in litigation and legal practice
- Prior internships in litigation will be an added advantage
- Must be self-driven, punctual, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conducting in-depth legal research on statutes, case laws, and contemporary legal issues
- Assisting in drafting petitions, legal notices, written submissions, and briefs
- Preparing summaries of case files, judgments, and legal opinions
- Attending court hearings and assisting with court filing procedures
- Coordinating with court clerks and registry offices as required
- Supporting the chamber in administrative and case-related tasks
