The Centre for Research in Innovation Law for Shared Prosperity, BITS Law School, Mumbai, is accepting applications for its Innovation Law and Policy Fellowship. This fellowship aims to support research and policy work in the field of intellectual property rights (IPR) and innovation, particularly in the context of mobile communication technologies, startups, and SMEs in India.

Fellows will engage in research on one or more of the following themes:

- Special emphasis on mobile communication technologies and their role in fostering innovation.
- Policy Discourse and Emerging Jurisprudence on IPRs
- Examining legal and policy developments related to IPRs in mobile communication technologies.
- Studying recent case laws, legislative changes, and global trends in IPR regulation.
- Creation and Commercialization of IP in India
- Focusing on the role of startups and SMEs in generating and commercializing patents.
- Exploring challenges and opportunities in the Indian patent system for small enterprises.
