Savvy Legal Research is inviting applications from motivated law students for a remote Legal Research Internship. This role is ideal for candidates who are strong in academic legal writing and are also interested in understanding the business and commercial side of legal consultancy.
About the Internship
This internship combines legal research, academic writing, and business development, offering exposure beyond traditional research roles. Interns are expected to contribute to research deliverables while also supporting client outreach and growth initiatives.
Stipend Structure
- Base Stipend: ₹5,500 per month
(Performance-based review every 15 days) - Performance Incentives:
- 10% commission on revenue generated
- 5% referral fee for new client acquisitions
Service Portfolio & Deliverables
- Peer Review: Critical analysis and editorial comments on legal drafts
(Base rate: ₹700) - Co-authorship: Collaborative legal research and publication opportunities
(Base rate: ₹700) - Selection Process:
- Internship begins with a 10-day probation period
- Research quality and alignment with business goals will be assessed
- Candidates must demonstrate business development initiative during this phase
Prerequisites
- Strong legal drafting and analytical skills
- Prior publications (preferred)
- Ability and willingness to engage in client outreach and networking
