JUS CORPUS
Jus Corpus is a body of legal professionals who have come together to bring various aspects and chains of law under a single umbrella. Jus Corpus, An Ed-Tech platform set up in 2020 has a wide reach of 6 lacs clicks per month on an average basis on our website (www.juscorpus.com). The inspiration was derived from the ever-growing need for Law Students. Jus Corpus has also incorporated an interdisciplinary journal and a multi-disciplinary journal as its subsidiaries named as the ‘Jus Corpus Law Journal’ & the ‘International Journal of Law Research, Education and Social Sciences’.
DOCTRINA LUDUS
Doctrina Ludus is a movement aimed at promoting sports and sports law education. By recognizing the immense significance of sports in society and the legal framework governing it, Doctrina Ludus strives to bridge the gap between sports enthusiasts, legal professionals, and aspiring students through comprehensive educational programs and engaging activities. This ground-breaking initiative serves as a catalyst for fostering a deeper understanding of the multifaceted world of sports and its legal complexities.
ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
Tarun (Faculty, Gujarat National Law University & Co-Founder, Doctrina Ludus)
Mr. Tarun is an accomplished sports law academic, plays a vital role as the Co-Founder of Doctrina Ludus. With a dynamic career spanning over eight years, he serves as an Assistant Professor (Research) at the Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) in Gandhinagar, India. Tarun’s expertise lies in sports law research, teaching, and consultancy. Recognized for his expertise, Tarun has been invited to deliver 8 courses and over 30+ webinars and guest lectures at esteemed institutions such as AISTS India, Jindal Global Law School, Kathmandu University School of Law, Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad and Mumbai University, to name a few. As a speaker and panellist, he has participated in the renowned ISLJ Conference at Asser Instituut, Netherlands, and the Sports Law and Policy Centre Symposium (SLPC) in Bengaluru.
Mr. Deep Ray (Founder, Sensato Legal & Co-Founder, Doctrina Ludus)
Mr. Deep Ray is an international sports lawyer with over 9 years of experience. He is a Partner at Sensato Legal. Deep provides legal advice to athletes, clubs, agents, federations, sports management firms from around the world on matters pertaining to inter alia labour issues, player transfers, disciplinary matters, match fixing, anti-doping. He has wide experience in representing parties before adjudicatory bodies of national sports associations, FIFA and the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). On the academic front, Deep has delivered guest lectures and conducted webinars at prestigious universities such as Jindal Global Law School, Symbiosis Law School, Kathmandu University, Gujarat National Law University, to name a few. Additionally, Deep is frequently invited as a panel member at sports law conferences and has also acted as a judge at international moot court competitions.
