ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Triumvir Law is inviting applications for two positions at its Bengaluru office.
1. Senior Associate / Principal Associate – General Corporate, PE & VC
Location: Bengaluru
Position: Senior Associate / Principal Associate
Practice Area: General Corporate, Private Equity & Venture Capital
There is one opening at either level, depending on experience.
The role is intended for lawyers with strong experience in corporate transactions, particularly private equity, venture capital and M&A.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading transactions
- Drafting and negotiating agreements
- Managing client relationships
- Guiding younger colleagues
- Taking responsibility for matters
- Forming legal views and discussing them with partners
The firm is looking for candidates with sound judgment, clear drafting skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
2. Head of Business Development
Position: Head of Business Development
Location: Bengaluru
The candidate will work closely with the partners to grow the firm’s practice, primarily in India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building new client relationships
- Strengthening existing client relationships
- Developing connections with businesses, founders, investors and referral networks
- Identifying business opportunities
- Preparing pitches and proposals
- Planning events
- Ensuring business conversations lead to clear next steps
- Developing international relationships
Experience in business development at a law firm or professional services business would be valuable.
