About the Internship
The Office of HMJ R. Mahadevan, Judge at the Supreme Court of India, is inviting applications for a full-time hybrid internship for the month of May 2025. This is a unique opportunity for law students to gain direct exposure to judicial functions and legal research, while observing court proceedings in one of the highest courts of the country.
Interns will be responsible for tasks such as making case notes, conducting legal research, and observing court proceedings, offering them invaluable experience and insight into the workings of the Supreme Court.
Eligibility Criteria
- 3rd year and above of the 5-year law program, or
- 2nd year and above of the 3-year law program
- Must be able to work in a hybrid mode, with 3 days in-office per week at the office located in Central Delhi.
- Strong interest in judicial functions and legal research.
Location: Central Delhi
Internship Duration: May 2025
Mode: Hybrid (3 days in-office per week)

Internship Responsibilities
- Case Notes: Summarizing and analyzing case details for the Judge
- Legal Research: Conducting research on various legal matters relevant to cases
- Observing Court Proceedings: Attending virtual court hearings and observing the courtroom activities
