About the Opportunity
Shraff Legal, Advocates is inviting applications for the position of Associate at its Kolkata office. The role offers exposure to both litigation and advisory work across specialized practice areas.
Eligibility Criteria
• LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
• Qualified in the All India Bar Examination (AIBE).
• 0–3 years Post Qualification Experience (PQE).
• Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Good communication and advocacy abilities.
• Candidates must be currently residing in Kolkata.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Conduct legal research and case law analysis.
• Draft pleadings, applications, opinions, and legal submissions.
• Assist in litigation and advisory matters.
• Support clients on taxation, FEMA, money laundering, and constitutional law issues.
• Appear before courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities as required.
• Coordinate with clients and senior advocates on ongoing matters.
