About the Role:
The company is urgently hiring a Branch Legal Manager to handle legal operations, documentation, and recovery matters at the branch level. The role involves working closely with the recovery, collection, and sales teams to ensure effective legal compliance and resolution.
Preferred Experience:
Candidates with prior experience in shortfall/loss on sale/seized and sold portfolio will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee branch-level legal activities.
- Handle matters related to loan recovery, arbitration, and litigation.
- Draft, review, and vet legal documents and notices.
- Liaise with external advocates and recovery teams for legal proceedings.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Law graduates (LL.B.) with 1–3 years of experience in corporate legal work.
- Strong understanding of NBFC laws, recovery processes, and legal documentation.
