Lloyd & Johnson, a Mumbai-based law firm, is inviting applications for the position of Junior Legal Associate as well as Legal Interns. This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure in Shipping, International Trade, Corporate Laws, and Admiralty/Maritime Law while working in a dynamic and challenging legal environment.
Position Details
- Position: Junior Legal Associate / Legal Interns
- Location: CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai (On-site)
- Start Date: Immediate
- Commitment: Minimum of 2 years (for Associate role)
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Admiralty / Maritime / Shipping / International Trade Law
- Strong academic background with solid legal research and drafting skills
- Preliminary knowledge of Admiralty & Maritime Law
- Proficiency in legal drafting and basic understanding of court procedures and protocols
- Prior experience in contract review will be considered an added advantage
- Candidates must be willing to relocate to Mumbai
Responsibilities
- Assisting in matters related to shipping, international trade, and corporate law
- Legal drafting, research, and advisory work
- Reviewing contracts and providing legal inputs
- Supporting litigation work including court filings and compliance with court procedures
- Delivering high-quality legal work consistently and within timelines
