About the Organization
The Square Circle Clinic (TSCC), formerly known as Project 39A, is an initiative of NALSAR University of Law dedicated to criminal justice reform. It works through a combination of empirical research, strategic litigation, and policy advocacy, focusing on issues of legal representation, death penalty, torture, and mental health.
Internship Details
- Mode: Preferably On-site
- Location: TSCC Office, New Delhi
- Duration: Flexible (Rolling basis applications)
Nature of Work
Interns will be expected to contribute in the following areas:
- Legal research and writing
- Drafting legal documents and reports
- Supporting ongoing litigation and field-based work
- Contributing to advocacy and outreach efforts in criminal justice and human rights
Eligibility Criteria
- Open to students pursuing 3-year or 5-year LL.B. courses or LL.M. programs
- Demonstrated interest in criminal law, human rights, and public interest litigation
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
Stipend
