ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
The 13th IUU Moot Court Competition, 2026, is being organised by the Moot Court Society, School of Law, IMS Unison University, Dehradun.
The competition aims to strengthen legal research, memorial drafting, courtroom advocacy, critical thinking, and practical understanding of legal issues. It provides law students with a national platform to develop their advocacy skills and engage with complex legal questions.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The key legal issues include:
INTERIM MEASURES UNDER SECTION 9: Maintainability of an application under Section 9 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, when the arbitral tribunal has already been constituted and Section 17 is available.
CHALLENGE TO AN ARBITRATOR: Issues concerning the challenge to an arbitrator’s appointment or continuation after the arbitral tribunal has rejected the challenge.
DISCLOSURE OF TECHNICAL RECORDS: Preservation and production of commercially sensitive technical and software records during arbitration.
TERMINATION OF A TECHNOLOGY SUPPLY AGREEMENT: Termination on account of alleged defects and the supplier’s opportunity to cure those defects.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Recovery of recall expenses and postponed-launch losses under a contractual limitation-of-liability clause.
