ABOUT THE INSTITUTE
The Institute for Social and Economic Change (ISEC) is an All India Institute for Interdisciplinary Research and Training in the Social Sciences, established in 1972 by the late Professor V. K. R. V. Rao.
The Institute is registered as a Society under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960, with the objective of combining field-oriented empirical research with advances in social science theories to contribute towards better public policy formulation.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Institute for Social and Economic Change (ISEC), Bengaluru, has invited applications for Professor (RBI Chair), a position established with financial support from the Reserve Bank of India.
The position provides an opportunity to contribute to research, teaching, training, and policy advocacy in economics, with particular emphasis on:
- Monetary and financial economics.
- Banking.
- Contemporary economic issues.
