About the Opportunity
The firm is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented litigation lawyer with experience in civil, commercial, and/or criminal litigation. The role offers exposure to court appearances, drafting, legal research, and case management before courts in Bangalore.
Eligibility Criteria
• LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
• 1–2 years Post Qualification Experience (PQE).
• Experience in civil, commercial, and/or criminal litigation.
• Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills.
• Working knowledge of Bangalore court procedures and practices.
• Proficiency in Kannada (spoken and written preferred).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Conduct legal research and case law analysis.
• Review statutes, regulations, and legal developments relevant to matters.
• Draft pleadings, notices, affidavits, applications, and other legal documents.
• Manage litigation matters and ensure timely handling of cases.
• Appear before courts in Bangalore and assist in hearings, filings, and proceedings.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, court procedures, and professional standards.
Preferred Skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Professional approach towards client and court interactions.
• Proficiency in MS Word and working knowledge of MS Excel.
