ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Rajeshwari & Associates is hiring Patent Associates / Senior Executives for its Intellectual Property practice.
The opportunity is intended for professionals looking to build or further develop their careers in Patent Practice and Intellectual Property Law.
The selected candidates will be involved in patent-related assignments and may be required to independently handle matters depending upon their experience and expertise.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Qualification: Science Degree
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Intellectual Property
Work Mode: Work from Office
Location: Delhi
Candidates having experience in one or more of the following areas are encouraged to apply.
KEY SKILLS AND AREAS OF WORK
1. Patent Drafting & Prosecution
Candidates should have experience in:
- Patent drafting.
- Preparing responses to First Examination Reports (FERs).
- Handling patent hearings.
- Patent prosecution.
- Prosecution management.
- Managing patent-related matters through different stages of prosecution.
2. Prior Art & Patent Searches
Experience in conducting the following searches will be relevant:
- Patentability searches.
- Freedom-to-Operate (FTO) searches.
- Invalidity searches.
- Patent landscape searches.
- Prior-art searches in India and international jurisdictions.
3. Technical & Client Interaction
The candidate should be capable of:
- Understanding technical inventions.
- Analysing inventions from a patent perspective.
- Communicating effectively with inventors and clients.
- Translating technical information into appropriate legal/patent documentation.
- Understanding client requirements and providing appropriate assistance.
4. Independent Handling
The candidate should have the ability to:
- Independently manage assigned patent matters.
- Take responsibility for ongoing assignments.
- Coordinate various stages of patent work.
- Mentor junior team members where required.
- Ensure timely completion of assignments.
