ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Looking for a Patent Associate / Senior Associate / Managing Associate – Chemistry to work closely with inventors, R&D teams, and attorneys in protecting innovations and developing effective patent strategies for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct prior art searches
- Draft and prosecute patent applications in the chemistry domain
- Collaborate with inventors and clients on patent strategy and portfolio management
Qualifications/Requirements:
- PhD or Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related field
- Preferably a qualified Indian Patent Agent
- 3-10 years of hands-on experience in patent drafting, searching, and prosecution
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team
- A detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive approach
- Strong sense of ownership and time management
