ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
PSA is looking for an Associate / Senior Associate with hands-on experience in Data Privacy and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA).
The firm is specifically looking for a professional who has worked with at least two B2C businesses and understands how data privacy operates in actual business environments, rather than only from a legal advisory perspective.
This opportunity is intended for candidates who are comfortable working directly with product, technology, business, and data teams, in addition to legal teams.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Candidates should have:
- Hands-on experience in Data Privacy / DPDPA.
- Experience working with at least 2 B2C businesses.
- Practical understanding of privacy compliance beyond preparing legal memoranda.
- Ability to work with product, technology, business, and data teams.
- Ability to understand and map data flows.
- Ability to identify privacy and compliance issues.
- Ability to convert legal requirements into practical business actions.
- Strong client communication skills.
- Ability to independently handle client conversations.
- Commercial understanding and practical problem-solving ability.
