Clicktech is a prominent seller on the Amazon India marketplace, operating across wireless products and accessories, consumer electronics, personal computing, home improvement, business and industrial supplies, smart home solutions and digital devices.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Clicktech Retail is hiring a Legal Counsel to join its in-house legal team. The role is suited for a commercially savvy and solutions-oriented lawyer who can support the company’s growing consumer business.
Position: Legal Counsel
Location: Bangalore
Work Mode: In-office
Experience: 5–8 years of legal experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising business teams on legal, commercial, technology, privacy, compliance and regulatory matters.
- Structuring, drafting and negotiating commercial transactions.
- Advising on evolving regulations governing business operations in India.
- Leading legal initiatives in coordination with tax, litigation, finance, HR, public relations and public policy teams.
- Supporting domestic business requirements and travel, where necessary.
Eligibility & Skills:
- LLB from a top-tier university in India.
- Company Secretary qualification will be an added advantage.
- 5–8 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal role, preferably involving technology and commercial transactions.
- Strong understanding of laws applicable to e-commerce marketplaces in India.
- Experience in FDI, IPR, Consumer Protection, IT, Competition and Advertising Laws.
- Strong drafting, communication, analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with senior executives and business teams.
- Strong legal and commercial judgment with high standards of professional integrity.
