ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
AP & Partners is hiring for its Corporate Practice in Gurugram.
The firm is looking to hire candidates at two levels:
1. Senior Associate
Experience: Approximately 4–6 years PQE
2. Associate
Experience: Approximately 1–3 years PQE
The opportunity is particularly suited to lawyers with experience in corporate transactions and transactional law.
PRACTICE AREAS
The work will largely involve:
- Domestic M&A
- Cross-border M&A
- Private Equity
- Venture Capital
- Joint Ventures
Candidates with relevant transactional experience in these areas would be suitable for the opportunity.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
For Senior Associate
- Approximately 4–6 years of post-qualification experience.
- Relevant experience in corporate and transactional matters.
- Exposure to M&A, private equity, venture capital, and/or joint ventures would be relevant.
For Associate
- Approximately 1–3 years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience or strong exposure to corporate transactional work.
- Understanding of M&A and investment transactions would be advantageous.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The selected candidates will work as part of the firm’s Corporate Practice and will be involved primarily in domestic and cross-border transactional matters.
The work will include exposure to:
- Mergers and acquisitions.
- Domestic corporate transactions.
- Cross-border transactions.
- Private equity investments.
- Venture capital transactions.
- Joint ventures.
- Transaction-related legal documentation and advisory work.
