About the Advocate:
Adv. Shruti Bist is a practicing advocate at the Supreme Court of India, known for her in-depth work in constitutional law, civil and criminal matters, PILs, and various high-stake litigation. Internship Details:
- Mode: Offline (In-person at Supreme Court, Delhi) and Online (Remote)
- Location (Offline): Supreme Court of India, New Delhi
- Duration: Minimum 1 month (can be extended based on performance and availability)
- Timings: As per court schedule and assignments (flexible for online interns)
- Start Date: Immediate Joining
Eligibility Criteria:
- Law students in the 4th or 5th year of a 5-year BA/BBA LLB program or final year of a 3-year LLB course
- Excellent legal research and writing skills
- Interest in Supreme Court litigation, constitutional law, and public interest litigation
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Prior internship or moot court experience in litigation will be an added advantage
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting legal research on various laws and recent judgments
- Drafting case briefs, legal notes, and assisting in petitions
- Attending court proceedings (for offline interns)
- Preparing research documents and assisting in case management
- Working on case law analysis and judgment tracking
