LCMA Law Firm is a Chandigarh-based law firm engaged primarily in litigation, with a focus on Criminal Law, Civil Law, Matrimonial Disputes, Mediation, Agreements and Advocacy. The firm’s practice is substantially focused on matters before the Punjab and Haryana High Court at Chandigarh and the courts/fora in the Chandigarh Tricity.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
LCMA Law Firm is inviting applications for a one-month offline training internship commencing from October 2026 onwards on a rolling basis.
The internship is designed to provide law students with practical exposure to legal practice and the functioning of a professional law firm, with particular emphasis on litigation.
Interns will primarily be exposed to:
- Legal Research
- Legal Drafting
- Litigation
- Criminal Litigation
- Civil Litigation
- Matrimonial Matters
- Mediation
- Legal Writing and Case Analysis
- Assisting with ongoing legal matters and office work
- Other practical aspects of legal practice
The programme is intended to develop practical skills and enable interns to meaningfully contribute to legal work.
Duration: One Month
Commencement: October 2026 onwards, on a rolling basis
Mode: Offline
Stipend: Unpaid
Office Timings: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Location: Zirakpur, Chandigarh Tricity
The Zirakpur office is located within the Chandigarh Tricity, in close proximity to Chandigarh. Candidates must be able to attend the office for the complete internship period and commit to the prescribed schedule.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Students pursuing a 3-Year LL.B. or 5-Year Integrated Law Programme
- Law students in any year may apply
- Genuine interest in litigation and practical legal work
- Ability to attend the office throughout the internship
- Availability from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Saturday
- Willingness to learn and work in a professional legal environment

Certification & Additional Opportunities
Candidates who successfully complete the internship and meet the applicable performance requirements may receive an Internship Certificate.
Based on performance, commitment, professionalism and suitability, selected interns may also be considered for:
- A further 3-month offline internship at LCMA Law Firm
- Letter of Recommendation (LOR) for exceptional performers
- Career guidance and assistance for candidates demonstrating genuine interest and potential in litigation
These opportunities are performance-based and are not guaranteed to every intern.
