ABOUT THE CHAMBERS
Karan Gupta Law Chambers is inviting applications for one-month assessment internships at its Bengaluru office for the months of January, February, and March 2027.
The internship is designed to provide practical exposure to dispute resolution and litigation. Candidates who perform well during the assessment internship may be considered for an Associate position in the May, June, or July 2027 intake.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Selected interns will work on dispute-related matters and gain practical experience in legal research, drafting, client meetings, and handling assigned matters.
Interns will be assessed on their performance and ability to take ownership of their work throughout the internship period.
INTERNSHIP DETAILS

Internship Period: January to March 2027
Mode: In-office
Location: 26, 1st Cross, Magrath Road, Next to Garuda Mall, Bengaluru – 560025.
Stipend: ₹6,000 per month.
Additional Expenses: ₹6,000 towards expenses for students residing outside Bengaluru.
Future Opportunity: High-performing interns may be considered for Associate positions in the May/June/July 2027 intake.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Applicants must fulfil the following requirements:
Law students pursuing either a 3-year LL.B. or a 5-year integrated law course at a recognised university.
Students must be in their penultimate or final year.
Prior internship experience in disputes or litigation is mandatory.
Law graduates are not eligible to apply.
NATURE OF WORK AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Selected interns will be involved in:
Conducting legal research on dispute-related matters.
Drafting legal documents and research notes.
Attending meetings and gaining exposure to discussions concerning ongoing matters.
Taking ownership of assigned matters and responsibilities.
Demonstrating their research, drafting, analytical, and practical legal skills.
Interns will be assessed on their work and overall performance during the one-month internship.

Statement of Interest: Not exceeding 300 words, explaining the candidate’s motivation to practise in dispute resolution or work as a litigating lawyer.
