ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Applications are invited from experienced legal professionals for the position of Associate – Private Equity, Venture Capital, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), and General Corporate at the firm’s Mumbai office.
This opportunity offers exposure to domestic and cross-border corporate transactions, including private equity and venture capital investments, mergers and acquisitions, transaction structuring, and general corporate advisory.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Candidates must have 2–4 years of relevant post-qualification experience in PE/VC, M&A, or General Corporate practice at a law firm.
Sound knowledge of the Companies Act, FEMA, and India’s foreign investment framework.
Exposure to cross-border transactions and FEMA/RBI/Authorised Dealer (AD) Bank processes will be an added advantage.
Strong drafting, legal research, analytical, and commercial problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to take ownership of workstreams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a transactional environment.
