Aditya Birla Housing Finance Limited (ABHFL), part of Aditya Birla Capital, is inviting applications from experienced legal professionals to join its team as Zonal Legal Manager – East.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
ABHFL is looking for a seasoned legal professional to lead and drive legal recovery initiatives across the East Zone.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end legal recovery actions through SARFAESI and CAC proceedings, strengthening recovery strategies, managing litigation, mitigating legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance in coordination with the Business and Collections teams.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Candidates must have 12 or more years of professional experience after completing LL.B. or LL.M.
Significant experience in secured lending recoveries is required.
Strong understanding and practical experience in SARFAESI and CAC proceedings.
Experience in litigation management, recovery strategy execution, and legal risk mitigation.
Knowledge of applicable regulatory and compliance requirements.
Prior experience in the housing finance industry will be preferred.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:
LEGAL RECOVERY MANAGEMENT: Drive end-to-end legal recovery initiatives across the East Zone.
SARFAESI AND CAC PROCEEDINGS: Manage recovery actions through SARFAESI and CAC proceedings.
RECOVERY STRATEGY: Develop and execute effective recovery strategies to maximise recoveries.
LITIGATION MANAGEMENT: Oversee litigation matters and recovery-related legal proceedings.
LEGAL RISK MITIGATION: Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks associated with recovery operations.
REGULATORY COMPLIANCE: Ensure adherence to applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
STAKEHOLDER COORDINATION: Collaborate with Business and Collections teams to strengthen recovery initiatives and achieve business objectives.
