ABOUT THE CHAMBERS
Vardini SreeVidya Advocates is a law office based in Chennai, specialising in Direct and Indirect Taxation and Constitutional Law.
The office is inviting applications from motivated law students for a three-month internship programme, offering practical exposure to legal research, preparation for legal proceedings, and professional legal practice.
ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP
The internship is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in taxation and constitutional law matters, including legal research, preparation of case paper books, drafting of legal opinions, and assistance in court and tribunal proceedings.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Students pursuing a five-year integrated LL.B. programme and currently in their fourth or fifth year are eligible to apply.
Students pursuing a three-year LL.B. programme and currently in their final year may also apply.
Candidates with a specific interest in Taxation Law and Constitutional Law are particularly encouraged to apply.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Selected interns will assist the legal team with the following responsibilities:
Assisting in preparation for court matters and tribunal proceedings.
Conducting in-depth legal research in taxation and constitutional law.
Preparing case paper books.
Assisting in the preparation of legal opinions.
Preparing brief notes and other case-related materials.
DURATION AND STIPEND
DURATION: Minimum 3 months.
STIPEND: Based on performance.
