ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Peritum Partners is looking to expand its General Corporate and Transactions practice and is inviting applications for the position of Associate – General Corporate and Transactions Practice.
Position: Associate – General Corporate and Transactions Practice Location: Chennai Experience: 2–4 years PQE
The selected candidate will independently review and draft commercial and transactional contracts, liaise with clients, and participate in negotiations.
Eligibility Criteria:
2–4 years of post-qualification experience.
Relevant experience in M&A, private equity/venture capital transactions, legal due diligence, and transaction documentation.
Strong understanding of General Corporate and Transactional Law.
Good drafting and redlining skills, particularly in relation to commercial contracts.
Ability to conduct legal research and draft advisory notes and legal opinions.
Ability to manage timelines, coordinate with clients, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
