ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Spark Legal is hiring a Senior Associate for its Transaction Advisory and General Corporate practice.
The role covers M&A, venture capital transactions, FEMA, and general corporate advisory for founders, startups, investors, and growing businesses. The selected candidate will be expected to lead matters, work directly with clients and counterparties, and manage junior team members.
Position: Senior Associate Practice Area: Transaction Advisory and General Corporate Experience: 4–5 years PQE Location: Mumbai Mode: Hybrid
Key Responsibilities:
Handle transactional matters involving Mergers and Acquisitions.
Work on venture capital transactions.
Advise on FEMA-related matters.
Provide general corporate advisory to founders, startups, investors, and growing businesses.
Lead transactions and manage matters independently.
Work directly with clients and counterparties.
Supervise and manage junior team members.
Important Eligibility Requirement: Candidates must have 4–5 years of transactional experience specifically in VC and M&A matters. In-house experience or predominantly general corporate experience, while valuable, will not count towards the PQE requirement for this position.
