ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
LEGALLANDS LLP is inviting applications from motivated legal professionals to join its team as a Legal Assessment/Associate.
The role offers exposure to diverse areas of Corporate and Commercial Law, International Business and Trade, Foreign Investment, Business Set-up, Contracts, Intellectual Property, Taxation, Regulatory Compliance, Immigration, and Dispute Resolution.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed legal and regulatory research on Indian and international laws, corporate regulations, foreign investment, international trade, taxation, immigration, and other practice areas handled by the firm.
- Draft, review, and assist with commercial and corporate agreements, including Service Agreements, Shareholders’ Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, NDAs, MOUs, Employment Agreements, Consultancy Agreements, Technology Transfer and Licensing Agreements, Distribution/Agency Agreements, and other commercial contracts.
- Draft Legal Notices, Replies, Representations, Applications, Opinions, Proposals, Affidavits, Petitions, and other legal and regulatory documentation.
- Assist in litigation and dispute resolution matters, including case preparation, drafting pleadings, coordinating with clients and counsel, and representing or appearing before Courts, Tribunals, and other competent authorities, as permissible under applicable law and authorisation.
- Assist clients with business establishment, corporate structuring, foreign collaborations, regulatory approvals, compliance, and cross-border transactions, particularly involving India, the UAE, and other international jurisdictions.
- Conduct research and provide assistance relating to FTA/CEPA frameworks, import-export regulations, DGFT, customs, international commercial transactions, and cross-border business strategies.
Candidates should possess strong legal research and drafting skills, a sound understanding of commercial and corporate laws, good written and verbal communication skills, and an interest in cross-border legal and business matters.
