ABOUT THE CHAMBERS
The Chambers of Ekta Mehta is inviting applications for the position of a Junior Colleague to work across civil, commercial and writ matters before various judicial and quasi-judicial forums in New Delhi.
The Hon’ble Delhi High Court will be the primary forum of practice, with work also involving the Hon’ble Supreme Court, Trial Courts and Tribunals.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Position: Junior Colleague
Experience: 2–3 years PQE
Primary Forum: Hon’ble Delhi High Court
Other Forums: Hon’ble Supreme Court, Trial Courts and Tribunals, New Delhi
Practice Areas: Civil, Commercial, Writ and allied jurisdictions
The selected candidate will be expected to assist with and independently handle various aspects of litigation practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in drafting pleadings and other legal documents.
- Conducting legal research.
- Handling and organising case-related documents.
- Appearing before courts and tribunals.
- Briefing Senior Counsels.
- Managing client communication and coordination.
- Assisting with day-to-day conduct and management of litigation matters.
- Handling filing procedures before various judicial and quasi-judicial forums.
Eligibility & Skills Required:
The Chambers is looking for an enthusiastic litigator with:
- 2–3 years of PQE.
- Prior experience in civil, commercial and/or writ litigation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Familiarity with filing procedures before various courts and forums.
- Practical understanding of litigation and court processes.
- Ability to work across multiple matters and forums.
