ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Position: Associate – Energy, Infrastructure and Electricity Regulatory Practice
Location: Mumbai
Experience: 1–3 Years PQE
The Mumbai office of Economic Laws Practice is seeking an Associate with strong current knowledge of electricity and corporate laws.
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
- Review Power Purchase Agreements and Shareholders’ Agreements.
- Filing and appearing before electricity regulatory commissions, High Courts, and the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity in matters concerning electricity law disputes.
- Review infrastructure contracts such as government tender documents, EPC Agreements, Public Private Partnership Concession Agreements, FIDIC contracts, etc.
- Assist in preparing due diligence reports for M&A transactions.
