ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming the way legal professionals conduct research, draft documents, review contracts, analyse information and approach routine legal workflows. As AI tools become increasingly accessible, the ability to use them effectively, critically and responsibly is becoming an essential skill for modern legal practice.
Practical Application of Artificial Intelligence in Legal Practice is a three-day hands-on workshop designed to bridge the gap between understanding Artificial Intelligence and actually applying it to legal work.
Unlike conventional programmes that primarily focus on the conceptual or theoretical aspects of AI, this workshop adopts a practical, workflow-oriented approach, enabling participants to understand how AI can be applied to real-world legal tasks.
Through expert-led demonstrations, practical exercises and interactive sessions, participants will explore how AI can be used across different stages of legal work—from building task-specific AI agents and developing effective prompts to contract review, redlining, due diligence and regulatory intelligence.
The programme is designed to help participants move beyond using AI merely as a general-purpose chatbot and instead understand how to use it as a structured, task-specific and practical legal technology tool.

Session 1 – Building Legal AI Agents: A No-Code Approach: The session will introduce participants to the concept of AI Agents and their application in legal workflows.

- Building task-specific Legal AI Agents without coding;
- Automating repetitive legal tasks; and
- Practical demonstration of AI-enabled legal workflows.
03 October 2026 –
Session 2 – Prompt Engineering for Legal Drafting & AI-Powered Contract Redlining: The session will focus on using AI effectively for contractual drafting and intelligent contract review.
Timing: 6 PM – 7:30 PM
Key Areas include –
- Structuring effective legal prompts;
- Context, instructions, constraints and output formats;
- Drafting and improving contractual clauses using AI; and
- Practical contract-drafting exercise.
- Identifying risky and missing clauses;
- AI-assisted redlining and clause comparison;
- Reviewing deviations from standard contractual positions; and
- Practical redlining exercise.
04 October 2026 –
Session 3 – AI-Powered Due Diligence & Regulatory Intelligence: The session will demonstrate how AI can assist legal professionals in reviewing large volumes of information and deriving meaningful legal insights.
Timing: 6 PM – 7:30 PM
Key Areas include:
- AI-assisted document review;
- Extracting key information from large document sets;
- Identifying risks, inconsistencies and red flags;
- Structuring a due diligence exercise using AI;
- Preparing a preliminary due diligence report; and
- Exploring AI-assisted regulatory intelligence and analysis.
