ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Hirani & Associates is hiring an Associate – Litigation, IP and Media & Entertainment for its Mumbai office.
The role involves both contentious and non-contentious work, with a focus on trademark and copyright disputes and Media & Entertainment matters.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handling trademark and copyright litigation, including pleadings, applications, notices, strategy and hearings.
- Conducting trademark searches, filings and examination responses.
- Managing trademark portfolios.
- Drafting and negotiating production, licensing and content agreements.
- Advising clients on exploitation and structuring of intellectual property rights.
- Preparing for and appearing in court proceedings.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- India-qualified Advocate.
- 2–3 years PQE.
- Hands-on experience in IP litigation and trademark prosecution.
- Strong drafting and analytical skills.
- Genuine interest in the Media & Entertainment sector.
- Ability to independently handle matters.
