ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Wadhwa Law Chambers is inviting applications for the position of Patent Agent to join its IP Prosecution Team in New Delhi.
The role primarily involves handling intellectual property prosecution matters, particularly patent drafting and prosecution. The selected candidate will have an opportunity to work on patent-related matters and assist in managing IP portfolios.
The role will involve:
- Patent drafting and prosecution.
- Preparing responses to examination reports.
- Handling and assisting with hearings before the Indian IP Offices.
- Managing and assisting with IP portfolios.
- Working on IP prosecution matters and related documentation.
- Assisting with other intellectual property matters as required.
Exposure to trademark and copyright prosecution will be considered an added advantage.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Candidates applying for the position should meet the following requirements:
- Must be a Registered Indian Patent Agent.
- Strong patent drafting skills.
- Strong analytical and legal reasoning abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience with an IP law firm is preferred.
- Candidates should have a strong understanding of patent prosecution procedures.
- Ability to independently handle drafting and prosecution-related assignments will be an advantage.
