HMB Legal, Advocates & Solicitors is inviting applications from serious, dedicated, and research-oriented law students for a Legal Research Internship on the subject “Understanding Government Tender Compliance: Legal, Regulatory and Practical Aspects.”
About the Internship
This internship offers an opportunity to develop an in-depth understanding of public procurement laws, government tender documentation, compliance requirements, bid evaluation processes, contractual obligations, and dispute resolution mechanisms relating to government tenders.
Eligibility Criteria
• Open to law students from all years of the 5-year or 3-year LL.B. programme.
• Good command of English (written and verbal).
• Familiarity with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Prior internships in General Corporate Advisory or Corporate Law teams will be preferred.
• Experience with law firms or in-house legal teams will be an advantage.
• Genuine interest in corporate, commercial, regulatory, or government contracting matters.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Conduct legal research on public procurement laws and government tender regulations.
• Assist in drafting legal research notes and related legal documents.

• Analyse tender documents, eligibility criteria, and compliance requirements.
• Assist in research relating to contractual obligations and dispute resolution mechanisms.
