About the Organisation
Applications are invited for Research Interns to assist with an academic research project on Article 32 of the Constitution of India and the Supreme Court of India. The project is being undertaken by:
• Prof. Gaurav Pathak – Associate Professor & Associate Dean, Jindal Global Law School
• Dr. Anush Ganesh – Lecturer in Law, University of Leeds
• Mohit Yadav – Founder, AltInfo & Empirical Legal Researcher
About the Internship
Selected interns will assist in an empirical legal research project involving the structured review and classification of publicly available Supreme Court orders. Interns will receive training, a detailed coding manual, access to the research interface, and regular feedback.
Eligibility Criteria
• Law students in the 2nd year or above of the 3-year or 5-year LL.B. programme.
• LL.M. students and recent law graduates may also apply.
• Prior research experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong legal reading, analytical, and research skills.
• Ability to follow structured research protocols with consistency.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Review and classify publicly available Supreme Court orders.
• Conduct structured legal analysis using the project’s coding protocol.
• Assist in empirical legal research and data classification.
• Maintain consistency and accuracy throughout the research process.
• Complete assigned work within prescribed timelines.
