About the Opportunity
The firm is looking for an experienced legal professional to lead legal recovery and litigation matters, with expertise in SARFAESI, insolvency, arbitration, and recovery proceedings.
Eligibility Criteria
• Law Graduate.
• 15–22 years of experience, preferably in the Mortgage Industry.
• Excellent understanding of Recovery Litigation under SARFAESI, Arbitration, Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, FIRs, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 (NCLT), Recovery (Summary) Suits, and Section 156(3) CrPC.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Handle recovery litigations using SARFAESI, Arbitration, Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, FIRs, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, Recovery Suits, and Section 156(3) CrPC.
• Manage repossession of properties through the SARFAESI route and develop strategies to reduce NPAs.
• Update and implement legal recovery policies.
• Defend litigation filed against the company, particularly high-value matters.
• Handle employee litigation, including departmental inquiries.
• Engage and manage panel law firms for structured deals and high-ticket recovery litigation.
• Provide legal advice to various business functions within the organisation.
