The Office of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Vikram Nath, Judge, Supreme Court of India, is inviting applications for Judicial Internships on a rolling basis for various internship cycles in 2026.
About the Internship
The internship offers practical exposure to judicial functioning, legal research, drafting, court procedures, and case analysis at the Supreme Court of India.
Eligibility Criteria
• Open to students of all years of a 5-year or 3-year LL.B. programme.
• Strong legal research and drafting skills.
• Good English writing and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and legal research databases preferred.
• Familiarity with legal databases and basic court procedures.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented approach.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Conduct legal research on statutes, case laws, and regulations.
• Assist in writ drafting and legal applications.
• Assist with drafting and court-related work.
• Draft legal documents, contracts, and case briefs.
• Provide administrative and paralegal support.
• Attend court hearings whenever required.
Internship Periods
• 12 July 2026 – 31 August 2026
• 1 September 2026 – 30 September 2026
• 1 October 2026 – 6 November 2026
• 16 November 2026 – 18 December 2026
These are the only available internship periods as per the Supreme Court calendar, and internship certificates shall reflect the selected period.
