About the Opportunity
S.S. Rana & Co. is inviting applications for the position of Associate Advocate / Senior Associate Advocate – Non-IP Litigation at its South Delhi office. This role is suited for experienced professionals with strong litigation exposure across civil and commercial matters.
Eligibility Criteria
- LL.B. (3-year or 5-year) / LL.M.
- 2–7 years of post-qualification experience
- Strong drafting and litigation experience
- Experience in civil and commercial litigation (criminal exposure is an added advantage)
- Prior appearance before District Courts and High Courts (Delhi preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple matters and coordinate with teams
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours (including weekends if required)
Nature of Work / Responsibilities
- Drafting suits, written statements, writs, counter affidavits, rejoinders, appeals, and other pleadings
- Handling recovery suits, declaration suits, injunctions, and specific performance matters
- Initiating, defending, and managing litigation matters
- Conducting legal analysis and case strategy planning
- Drafting and reviewing commercial agreements and legal documents
- Appearing before District Courts, High Courts, and tribunal
- Coordinating with internal teams and managing multiple client matters
