About the Internship
The Ministry of Power is inviting applications under its Legal Internship Scheme for law students across India. This internship provides an opportunity to understand legal processes related to energy regulation, policy implementation, and public law while working across various divisions of the Ministry and gaining institutional exposure.
Eligibility Criteria
- Law students currently enrolled in recognised institutions in India
- Strong interest in public law, policy, and regulatory frameworks
- Ability to conduct legal research and drafting work responsibly
Nature of Work / Responsibilities
- Conducting legal research and preparing case studies related to power sector policies
- Drafting legal memos, summaries, and regulatory analyses
- Supporting work related to compliance, contracts, and governance matters
- Gaining exposure to legal frameworks and functioning of government operations
